Atlas Fitness Tracker doesn’t understand what an endorsement is

By

Just noticed something on the Atlas Fitness Tracker campaign.  It’s a textbook example of a crowdfunding project mistaking a quote for an endorsement.

Atlas got the Men’s Health quote from here:

menshealth

And Men’s Health got the Atlas quote from farther down on the Atlas Indiegogo page:

  1. Thank you for pointing that out to us. We made a textbook mistake like you said and will fix it in shortly in the future. We appreciate your candor.

  2. What, Atlas Wearables, was the textbook mistake that you made? Overenthusasim? Textbook deception? Pray tell.

  3. I don’t know if that is considered a mistake.

  4. The news release’s webpage will not supply a share” button, therefore
sharing this development without needing an accelerator would require users to duplicate the web link,
open up a internet browser tab or screen, visit
(or any other URL shorterner) and finally post the news headlines for their buddies to see.
